Michelle began her foyer into the beauty industry at the age of 16 where she was accepted into the theatre program at Orange County School of The Arts (formerly OCHSA). There she studied theater costume and makeup + apprenticed under working theater techs working in the business. She graduated and was hired at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Ca. There she worked in the face character costuming department.
She realized quickly that while she loved costumes, sewing and design, her passion was truly in makeup. Soon after Michelle began to study under Donna Mee at The Empire Academy of Makeup in Costa Mesa. From there she was offered work from Benefit, Stila and MAC makeup counters.
Soon Michelle had a personal book of over 1,200 personal clients and was being hired to offer freelance services in the Orange County and Los Angeles areas. In 2005 Michelle relocated to Hollywood to work and apprentice on film, runway and bridal makeup. From 2005-2010 she focused on bridal and personal makeup education.
In 2010 Michelle went back to school to get her hours and licensing in esthetics so she could offer skincare services and education as well as makeup artistry to her long-time and new clients.
Michelle rented a room in a local spa/boutique in the little college town of Claremont, CA to meet one on one with her clients offering skincare, waxing and makeup services until the summer of 2012.
In 2012 Michelle and her husband, Jeremy, were expecting a baby girl in Winter of 2013. During this time her husband was offered a job in Nashville. She decided to take some time away from the beauty industry to focus on her growing family. Settled into Nashville, they welcomed their son in 2018. In 2020 Michelle began homeschooling her oldest and realized that it was a priority for her family.
She began looking for a way to practice her art form: makeup artistry and beauty & have enough time freedom to homeschool her children. That’s when she discovered SEINT, fell in love and the rest is history.
